Descripción
El castillo o alcazaba se erige sobre un grandioso peñasco de forma triangular, que junto con la torre de la Muela y la del Andador constituía el núcleo defensivo más importante de la ciudad.
La visita al Castillo te permitirá acceder al recinto de la antigua Alcazaba de los Banu Razín situada sobre un promontorio rocoso que domina toda la ciudad y el valle. El espacio es un gran campo arqueológico donde se conservan los mejores restos arquitectónicos del Albarracín islámico. Durante el recorrido, te enseñaremos a interpretar cómo eran las viviendas de la élite social y militar de aquellos siglos. Por otro lado, la localización del castillo lo convierte en el mejor mirador de Albarracín, un punto desde el que seguro podrás tomar tus mejores fotografías.

The castle or citadel stands on a grandiose triangular rock, which together with the tower of La Muela and the tower of El Andador constituted the most important defensive nucleus of the city.
